100618 San Francisco

Jun 18, 2010 - I picked up Birdie at the airport and we headed over to Candlestick RV Park in San Francisco. We took a shuttle downtown, then took a doubledecker sight-seeing tour bus. It's a sunny day - yay! - but it was REALLY windy. It was too windy to be comfortable, and we both got really chilled on the ride. But it was a fun tour. We're both tired - long days recently - so are taking it easy this evening and retiring early. I especially enjoyed seeing the Painted Ladies and other beautiful Victorian homes on the tour. We had a really fine Chinese meal in Chinatown for dinner - Peking Duck and eggplant with garlic sauce. Yum! I love this town. But I definitely don't like the wind.
