I drove to Escondido and spent a couple days with my cousin and his wife. It was a good visit. We all got to know each other a little better, and we had time to spend talking about family history and looking at old photos and old movies. They took me to the Safari Park nearby one day. Arlene hadn't ever fed the lorikeets before, which was fun. 
And we got a good look at a six-month-old baby gorilla, his scary-looking silverback daddy, and the lions, and lots of beautiful birds.

Glad you enjoyed your visit and got to see all the family photos/history. The Wild Animal Park is a beautiful place. Hope you post more photos of the park. You have some great pics I'm sure as you have an eye for photography.
